Infant seat for BMW 330ci

We are in the process of adoption, and may not have a long lead time-- meaning we may be running by Babies R Us or Target on the way to a placement.

Ideally, I'd want to buy a car seat NOW, but the rational part of me knows that it could, in reality, take 2+ years to get that call- and I don't *need* one now....

So, in my planning, assuming we still have the BMW 330ci when we are placed, what is the best infant seat? We'd be open to an convertable seat as well, but it'd be tough getting the baby in and out.

Our other car is a Saturn VUE, and I'm not so concerned about the fit in there.

By the "Best" do you mean the best fit for your vehicle? Easiest to install? Easiest to use?

I've put a Graco Snugride 32 (same as the 35) in a 330i in the middle with the seatbelt and the passenger with LATCH. It may not be the same as the ci, but that should give you an idea.

Thanks! By "Best" I mean best fit for the crazy bucket type back seats-- and potentially one that will allow a passenger in the front.

It's got such a tiny/hard to access backseat.

I've tried them all, and the 'best' was the KeyFit, installed outboard, with the seatbelt. Using LATCH provided an okay install, but I was more satisfied with a belt install. You could also install the seat in the middle (would have to be with belt) if you're more content with having baby in the middle.
