Booster with lights?

We are working towards putting DD in a booster full time so I am in the market for two boosters. She mentioned her friend has a booster that has lights on it, does that sound like a seat anyone is familiar with? She showed me on her seat and said they were up by the head wings.
Also, she is petite at just 40lbs. and probably 46 inches at 6.5years so any recommendations would be great! (she would love the one with lights!)

Yeah, I remember those seats. I think they were made by evenflo? I don't believe they are made anymore and I can't remember how long ago they were out.

The one with the lights is the Evenflo Big Kid booster:

We usually do not recommend this booster because it usually does not provide a good lap belt fit.
For your daughter I would recommend the Graco Turbobooster, Recaro ProBooster or the Harmony Dreamtime Comfort Highback booster :)

any input on the Compass, I think b570, its the folding booster? I thought it might be a good second seat since we fly quite a bit and it may travel nicely.

The Compass is very wide, so it may not be the best fit for a petite child. It's also not very tall. But try it out.

for a petite child, and needing it to travel easily, I'd go with the Graco Turbobooster... when you travel, just pack the back inside your luggage and tote the base as the kid's carry-on...

the turbo fits smaller booster riders really well.

The lights aren't worth buying the big kid deluxe...

I have the Big Kid Deluxe with lights. The lights get left on and eat through 2 AAA batteries on each side pretty quickly. I'd probably lean towards a different booster. Take your dd shopping, let her pick her cover on whichever seat you pick out (being whichever seat fits her best). Turbos have tons of options.

Thanks for all your advice. I think we will look at the turbobooster. I really like some of the fancier ones they have advertised at Babiesrus. The covers look really nice so maybe we will check the store thats about an hour away and see what they have in stock.

Budget friendly would be the Graco Turbobooster.

If you are wanting to spend more money I can tell you what has fit daughter who is even more petite than yours. The Monterrey we really loved, but it was just a hair too wide in the shoulder area. The Recaro ProBooster fit her awesome. The Britax Parkways fit well too. We ended up with a Recaro VIVO and it fits her perfect. It's also been the easiest for her to climb up into. We sold our Recaro ProBooster due to the fact that it was tippy in a few cars we have her in on occasion.
