Chrissy has one. It is basically a dorel product. It has a puzzle bucket. I don't love the base.
The new ones don't have puzzle buckles and they have the push-on IMMI connectors on the base now - at least in Canada.
The Mico:
- PITA to install in many vehicles both with LATCH and seatbelt. It is the only seat that I tell somebody they absolutely must try due to the widespread incompatibility issues.
- Handle can be left up in the car
- Low bottom harness slots - will fit pretty much any 5lb baby
- Interior seems narrow, and top slot is a ways below the top of the shell. Known for having short harness straps - though Dorel will send a replacement harness.
- Not too heavy, handle relatively comfortable
- Cover is well padded and usually cotton materials that make it more breathable
- The handle to release the seat from the base is on the base itself - slightly awkward IMO.
The biggest downfall to the Mico is the install issues. If it will install well in her vehicle, it's a nice enough seat. I don't think it's worth the price point it sells at in Canada (not sure what the price is in the US,) but if she's wanting to get a Quinny Buzz or a Maxi Cosi Foray stroller it's her only choice - and both strollers do have features that make them nice. Again not for the price, but they're nice and parents who have those strollers love them. (I work part time at a BRU, so get feedback on the strollers quite a bit that way.)
