3 car seats across 2nd row

I am looking for the vehicle that will fit 3 car seats across the second row. Seems strange this info is so hard to find. We even went to the car show today and most automakers don't publish there seat widths in the spec books they give to their reps, much less the material available to the general public. So frustrating!!
I would prefer an SUV/crossover vehicle w/hybrid or alternative fuel capabilities, but also looked at minivans. I like having the 3rd row seat, but want to use the 2nd row for all until my 3yr old is older/bigger. She is too petite for a booster, and likely will be until she is 5. My 1 1/2 yr old is huge, but he's not old enough for booster or able to self buckle. #3 is on the way, and we want to use an infant carrier for the 1st 6mos. Surely we are not the first family to face this situation! Help please!!!

well mine is just a plain old minivan, but it does an AMAZING job of 3 across the 2nd row...it is a pontiac montana, but the chevy venture has the same seating too, it is the 3 modular seats that are all individual and can fold, flip etc...but what is really nice about them is that they can take any size carseat, no crowding. I can even have a carseat in the middle, and an adult on either side no problems. I have been wanting a new vehicle, but have come to love the mod. seats so much that I don't want to give them up!! I think they are not so common now, more people like the captians chairs, and these are special order I believe on the newer montanas.

I have a Chevy Venture with the modular seating. I LOVE it. I can fit just about anything in there.

We have an 8 passenger Toyota Sienna and I love it. I have 3 across the middle row right now....Britax Marathon, Britax Companion, and Britax Marathon. I have also done Marathon/Marathon/Regent and it fit as well.

I have a Toyota Sienna also with the 8 passenger. You can fit anything you want across the middle really. Right now I have a FF MA, a RF BV, and a Regent.

Another vote for Pontiac Montana/Chevy Venture/Olds Silhouette with the modular seating!

Decent mileage too - my 1997 gets about 25mpg (combined city/highway).

Looooove my Toyota Sienna - I have a Marathon and two Parkways in the 2nd row. I had two Apex's but the last one hangs over the seat edge too much. Got the Parkways for $25 so I might sell them and go for the new Nautilus, depending on what everyone thinks of it.

But, yeah - 3 seats on the 2nd row is great :)
