Best Convertible seat for Chunky, Sweaty Baby??

I am looking for recommendations for a convertible seat for my son, who is 9 months. He is 28" and weighs 21lbs. We are currently using the Britax Be Safe 35, and are pleased with the quality, but it seems a little narrow and he seems to sweat a good bit when he is in it. I'd like to find a seat that is comfortable for him, and will fit in my vehicle (Jeep Grand Cherokee). This will be the only seat, so a larger width seat is ok. I've looked into the Peg Perego Viaggio and the Evenflo Symphony Elite, but having difficulty deciding on anything. Also important is that the vehicle interior is black, so a carseat with cooling material would be helpful. I'd like to keep the cost under $400 if possible, but any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

I looked into the Evenflo seats with cooling fabric too, but sadly they didn't work in my difficult car! Off the top of my head, Britax has some cooling fabrics on some models, and the ClickTight convertibles are pretty compact front-to-back. Chicco has their Zip Air line with the NextFit being their convertible. I have a Graco 4Ever with a mesh fabric cover that I liked. Not sure if that fashion (I think it was called Matrix) or a similar mesh one is currently available on that or another of their convertible or all-in-one seats. It's worth looking into, though, as the seat is nice and roomy, especially compared to the NextFit. Not sure how the roominess of the 4Ever compares to the Britax line. Good luck!

Thank you-- I will definitely look at that one!
