Will a Radian (XTSL/80SL) fit my cars?

Please excuse my total newbie-ness.

I've been posting on the Canadian/International board (I'm in Canada) about which Radians to get for my 28 lb 24 month old DS. He's currently RFing in 2 Marathons, but their RFing weight limit is 30 lbs, so we're out of time! I want to keep him RFing as long as possible, so I'm dying to get him a couple of Radians. I've been looking at the 2010 Radian XT (AKA XTSL in the USA) and the 2010 Radian Premier (AKA 80SL in the USA). After going back and forth I had decided to get one of each. The XT for my car (which he rides in 95% of the time) and the Premier for DH's car.

I was all ready to place the order until I checked the responses tonight and someone had mentioned that I might not be able to get a good install in my vehicles. This is an issue since these seats are NOT available where I live. I have to purchase on-line. So I can't try them out first. And returning them could be a big issue, since shipping costs (which are outrageous here) aren't refunded. And they might not even take them back!

So, here's the question. Will these seats fit in a:

'99 Hyundai Sonata?
'06 Buick Allure?

BTW, I've already looked at the Successful Radian Install thread and couldn't find anything on the Allure and nothing really helpful on the Sonata, since it doesn't have LATCH.

I'm sorry, I can't help you out with either of those cars

But I just wanted to say, you could try it first and just buy one to see how it fits in both cars. Hopefully it will fit in at least ONE of your cars. But if it doesn't fit in either, then you are only out the return shipping on one seat. If it fits, order a second.

I hope someone with one of those cars can help you out!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Though I may have to stop feeding DS so I don't have to turn his Marathon FF in DH's car in the meantime.

can I ask where you are located? there may be someone near you that has one of these seats. or a tech even.
