yeah the standard fee is $60 from safe kids...
this is where i found my class and when i called to sign up for it... it was then offered to be free from our state safekids coordinatore b/c they had scholership program where if i took the course, completed it then did 4 check up for the place offering the class (state farm) then it was free.

There are no classes offered in my entire state (Massachusetts). How often do they add classes does anyone know???

The state does do classes here and often in Bangor, sadly they are $100 and $60 for the cert fee. One tech got her State Farm agent to fund the $100 for her :) SK events, although there are not many in your area, pays $10 an hr and mileage stipends :)

You can always contact instructors in your area and see if they would be willing to come to your area and teach a class. That's what I did. I started the process in early February. My instructor said to get a minimum of 6 people, find a location and she will come to me. We did just that in June!
