Which seat should I get?

I wouldn't worry about it for even a heavier child, personally. I do have faith that Graco has taken the steps necessary to ensure the seat is safe to the full 65 pound weight limit or they would not have put it on the market.

How about an Evenflo Chase? $60, tall top slots, EPS foam....

I trust Graco, I was talking about the Apex 65 I love the GN's!!

I think you'd be fine with either a Graco CarGo or an Apex if you can't swing the Nauti. If you decide on the Apex, make sure there is head support behind it in the car. If she is only 33 lb, the CarGo will last plenty long. My name is Mackenzy, btw, and I also go by Mac. :)

Maedze - I would have said almost the same thing. She's not even close to being able to safely use a booster seat. We know that's what you meant.

If you decide on the Apex and have a Big Lots near you, you might want to look there. Some of them have Apex/Alpha Elites with fairly recent DOM for $85.

I think I am going to do the Apex. It's a decent option even though I don't know that I would use it for a larger child. I like the side head wings on that seat better then the CarGo and yes, there will be head support for her in the car that the seat will be in, her friend uses that seat so there is (Iv'e seen her in the seat)

Being able to call her Mac is why I named her Mackenzie, Iv'e always loved Mac for a girl for some reason :)
..wev'e also came up with some others like Mackie and Mac n'cheese hehee

I would have said the same thing too. The poster said "at her age and weight she will be ok in a booster" and NO, she won't be ok in a booster even if she's allowed to be in one by the manufacturer.
