Which Recaro Seat

I'm researching convertibles for my 7.5 month old dd. I have no knowledge on the Recaros and I wondering which Recaro I would go with? I'm not sure the difference between them.

In comparing them with the MA, which would you go with?

I would go with a MA. There are just to many issues with the new Recaros and not enough answers for my taste. plus RFing tether is a must for me and Recaro doesn't offer that.

I'd go with the Marathon for the RF tether and for the lock-offs. Too many questions have come up about the Recaro seats.

Alot of people are having problems with Recaro, the "lock offs" aren't working, and the harness is twisty. Also if you are planning to have this be her car seat in a couple years the shoulder rooms is limited. We don't have this seat but I have some pictures of the 4 year old I watch in it (if you would like to see them), and he is squished. I would go with the britax for those reasons and the rear-facing teather.

I like my Recaro Como. Baby didn't like it at first but has gotten used to it and sleeps well on long trips. I know there are alot of MA fans on this site but I saw pictures of frayed straps on a MA on this site and was afraid. Totally freaked out. Also, about the lock-offs, does that matter if you have locking seatbelts anyway? I figure most newer cars do. Just wondering.

No, it's not an installation issue, but it's definitely a trust and competence issue.

I would choose a Britax over a Recaro right now.
