Which infant carseat next to a marathon?

We have a 10.5 month old in a marathon and I'm in the market for an infant seat for baby #2 coming in August. I've read a few posts that have said they weren't able to put a center snugride next to a rear facing marathon.
My first question is...with two rear facing seats next to eachother, do most people put the infant carrier in the center or on the side?
Secondly, what infant carrrier carseat fits nicely next to a rear facing marathon? If not snugride...what about the safeseat or keyfit?

I think it really depends on what car your trying to fit the seats in.

ETA: I would probrally put the infant in the center if you wanted to go that route and have one in the center. But I think I would put them both in the outboard positions because then its less work, but thats just my opinion.

I currently have my RF Marathon outboard and my Safeseat fits great in the center seat with no problems. My DS#1 is on the other outboard side in a Graco Turbobooster.:thumbsup:
