Where can I get a locking clip

After reading a locking clip site that someone posted I think I need one but where do I get one

What year is your car? You can buy a locking clip from most baby stores.

Does your local fire department do car seat checks? Around here our departments do and they usually have extra locking clips on hand for people who need them to properly secure their carseats. If not I have a couple lying around here I would be more than happy to mail to you. My seats lock in my suv and I can't use them. Just PM me if you are interested.

What seat do you have? Most come with one somewhere on the back/underside of the shell.

Judging from your signature...you probably don't need one unless your car is older than 1997, and only then for the Regent. What other seat situation do you have?

98 dodge ram quad cab , Regent is in the middle with the lap belt and we have a boulevard behind the passenger seat

Yes, I think it does have a locking latchplate.

I read somewhere that if it doesn't make that racheting sound when the belt goes back in that it needs one, so I don't?

A 98 Dodge might have a lightweight locking latchplate. The shoulderbelt may move, but the lapbelt should stay tight.

No, you don't need one. The belts lock at the latchplate. If you have slipping issues, you can flip the male end of the buckle once, but you don't need a locking clip :thumbsup: Were you planning on using it with the Blvd? It has built-in lockoffs so you wouldn't need a locking clip even if your belts didn't lock.
