Regardless of price ;) , what is your fave (still in production) seat for RF?

EFTA
Marathon, Decathlon or Blvd
First Years True Fit (I know this is very new!!)
Something else?

How about Hall of Fame Best Seat Ever?

Well, it depends on the kid.

I love my EFTA for my DD1, who is a stringbean (38" and 28 pounds). She still has about 2" before she outgrows it RF. I don't love the EFTA for DD2, because she doesn't like the red tabs. They irritate her neck, whereas with DD1 she's big enough that they are behind her shoulder and don't touch her neck.

I love my Roundabout for DD2 (she's a peanut, and I fully intend on buying her a new seat when she outgrows it or when it expires). I don't like the RA for DD1, since well her whole head sticks up over the shell. ;)

I was making a general inquiry out of curiousity, as well as for my daughter who is almost 1, average height and weight, in my Jeep Liberty '03.

I was just trying to get a feel for what people like best, see if there was _some_ sort of gut reaction consensus! I know each kid, parent and car are different, and of course the most important thing is that the seat is installed and used correctly each time :)

I really really like my MCP RF...but I cannot get it installed well, period, FF, and it's only a 40lb harness anyway.

I like my BLVD better RF, my Wizard better FF....LOL...and of course, I like the 35lb RF limit better on the new ones.

Still currently made? Roundabout - hands down. I know it's only a 40# seat and has a lower back, but it adjusts SO easily.

Best-ever? Britax Elite.

I love my Marathon rear facing. So easy to install. Plus it goes up to 65lbs total after it's done RFing.

I didn't have too much problem with our touriva, but it couldn't be tethered rear facing. I love the rear facing tether on the britax seats!

I love my marathon for a one year old but under that age I would have to say the Decathalon. That things was a life saver when my 3 month old grew out of his snugride.

i think my triumph is my current fav as far as easy to use, price, and comfortable for babe. it's not the advance, but my tiny girl is still rear-facing in it at 20 months.

My Blvd

although I did love my Truimph (not the advance) for my son when he was little. The Blvd just seems a little easier to install.

Ditto! Marathon is my next-fav; if only they'd put that wonderful RA adjuster on the MA!

I do like the Radian, too, though. I've said before that if someone dropped a baby on my doorstep, I'd happily use the Radian until I could drop him off at Gypsy's. :D

I also say Roundabout...honestly my favorite seat ever RFing and FFing. We used it for DD1 until she got a MA on sale at age 2...I was so sad when we had to stop using it. We hauled it back out for DD2 and loved every minute of it until we replaced it with another MA in the Feb. sale.

Its just my all time favorite seat, so easy to adjust, no HUGS (sorry I have a love/hate relationship with those things), fit perfect in small places. If it wasn't outgrown quicker than other seats I would have kept it forever!

Sleep well my little roundabout, sleep well ;)
