I have one of each of these and I don't think one is necessarily safer than the other. The Vivo seems to have a bit more SIP around the body. The head cushions are both nice a big, but they are shaped different. I don't think that makes a difference in safety, though. The Vivo has armrests, the Parkway doesn't. The Vivo does seem sturdier, though. It has aluminum rods going up the back which make it a little heavier, but also nice and solid.

I agree with everything Ann said. I'd feel safe with my dd in either booster. However, I don't like how the Parkway tips when dd climbs in and on corners, the Vivo wouldn't do that, I don't think. It's more sturdy-feeling and not top-heavy. Both adjust about the same height. The Vivo is shorter in the seat depth, which may or may not be a problem for your child.
