Washing the GN cover

Do you dry it in the dryer or do you air dry? Mine is gross and I just tossed it in the wash (handwash, cold) and the manual is in DD's room. Does it say that its OK to toss it in the dryer? TIA!

If I recall correctly, the manual says air dry.

ETA: The manual does say drip dry.

Does your dryer have an "air dry" setting? I bet that would be OK. Wish I could remember how I dried mine when I washed it - I think I air dried it but I'm not sure. I think I air dried it because it doesn't seem as durable as, say, the Britax covers, which I have no problem drying on low.

I air dried mine just cause i didn't want to risk it at all. I can't remeber exactly what the manual says though.

I threw mine in the dryer on the "tumble/no heat" setting, and it came out fine.

that's what I did... the last time I washed mine, it was pouring outside and very cold inside.... I wanted it DONE... it turned out fine.

I just had to do my grandson's GN cover. I discovered that I could get away with just washing the cover on the bottom! It was gross! And then I was able to clean the nooks and crannys in the shell.

I tried washing it in the sink but it did not work. I used Zout on the stains and washed it in the washing machine on gentle. I air dried it.

But they were only a few spots on the back cover and the headrest cover that I was able to get off with Folex carpet cleaner and a damp cloth. I was sure glad because getting that whole cover off seemed like it would be a massive undertaking!
