I'm installing a Safeseat base in my MIL's car (2002 Buick Lesabre).
The seatbelts lock at the buckle not the retractor (aka locking latchplate, right?)
Should I use the built-in lockoff or just leave it up to the latchplate? Can I use both?
I'm guessing I can but don't need to as it's somewhat similar to when people use a locking clip for a tipping rfing seat but still lock the shoulder belt to avoid the kid playing with the slack? ok, but not necessary?
ps: those locking latchplates are amazing! I'd never installed seats with that kind of belt...love!
