Two car seat fitment question for latest A4/S4

I'm considering getting a 2012 S4 and need to fit two ff car seats. Has anyone installed two ff car seats (Radians) in the passenger and middle seat locations?

I'll need to have the driver seat slid and reclined fairly far back (I'm 6'4"). Would there be any issues with a reclined driver seat and a ff car seat in the middle?

Shouldn't be a problem. I've had two Radians next to one another in an older A4, and I believe the newer ones are bigger.

How old and heavy are the kids?

Currently they are only 1.5yr and pushing 30lb but I'm not getting the car until they are at least 2yr.

I'd still rear face them, and try to get them as close to four years old as possible.

You should be fine with two Radians and two angle adjusters. One in the middle and one on the passenger side. The middle one will rest against your seat, likely, but that's fine, and then the passenger one should be able to fit behind the passenger seat without touching.

If you're not going to rear face them beyond the minimums, I wouldn't bother buying seats that rear face. It's not economical. I'd look at two Evenflo Maestros.

Btw, how wide are the Maestros? Evenflo's website doesn't appear to list dimensions.

I think just shy of 19". They tend to puzzle well together, though.

I think I'll just go with the Radians then so I can try to get them rf if possible else ff.
