TurboBooster with Safe Surround or regular?

If you were going to buy one of the above today, which would you choose?

While the Safe Surround thing seems okay, if something drives me to the Safe Surround, it's probably actually that the head wings for the regular turbobooster seem awfully narrow... is that as true as it looks?

If I had the money I would probably get the safety surround just because it offers more support. That being said, I have the regular version with a crazy big headed kid, like she wears an adult helmet big, and she fits very comfortably.

My kids have both and they both prefer the safety surround one. If you time it right you can usually find an awesome sale on them at target.

Just asked DD1, who uses a regular TB in MIL's car and a SS in DH's. I just asked her which she likes better, based on sitting in it, not how they look and she said the SS. She does like the regular better based on looks because it is floral and super cute, but the SS is more comfy. For a position with latch, my choice is the Affix, but wish they had a SS with latch. If just between the regular or the SS though, gonna go with the SS for sure.

Yeah, I'd like it with LATCH, too.

I do want to take advantage of the Target sale, so I think I may go for the SafeSurround. I think I even have a mailer (if it's still valid) for an extra 5% off, too

My daughter has one in each of our cars. We love it. Way better than the original. Much better sleep support. Def worth the money

Just to add one thing, DD wants to switch the SS into the car on Friday when we are going out of town because it is more comfortable. Her regular booster in the car is an Evenflo Big Kid Amp.
