True fit ff

Just installed the true fit f for the first time and not sure I like the install.

There is a gap at the seat bight, but the back is flush against the seat. Had to move the head rest though so it would be flush.

Your vehicle seatback looks pretty reclined, is that the approved position for it?
That looks pretty typical for a FF TF install, IME. Compression back and then down can sometimes squish it more upright.

Just double checked both the manuals and neither prohibit it. Actually, did not see anything in either stating either way.

Is it the most upright position? Generally, if no one says anything I default to the most upright. Regardless, I think your install is fine.

It is actually 2 clicks I think.

Do you think it would be ok reclined that was as neither state anything?

I may have to try more upright tomorrow after work.

Definitely not fiddling with the top tether though. By far the hardest one so far of the seats I have installed ff in the van.

Thanks! :)

Just chiming in with a reply. I have the same seat same pattern! Love it forward facing. I did have issues at first as well but realized I didn't have the seat in full upright postion which helped tons once i realized it.

Do you mean the car seat, or the vehicle seat in full upright position?

Definitely going to need to fiddle with the seat tomorrow after work.
