Triumph 65 vs Radian

Ive read on here that the Triumph 65 & the Radians all have 17.5" top slots. Does anybody know the shell height for these seats, since that is more what matters in trying to figure out which will last longer RF? I thought last I checked Radians were the thinnest AND tallest seats out there.

Also, other than the narrowness of the Radian and the fact that it's foldable, it doesnt seem to have any other big factors that would put it way above the Triumph (when comparing models that both RF to 40lbs and FF to 65lbs). Am I missing anything? We're used to Britax seats, but now that there are so many great options out there for convertibles these days, I wanted to look around. The Triumph has the no rethread harness which sounds nice, and a much nicer price tag. But with this being kid #4, having a skinny seat for future 3 across options might be nice, too. :question:Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, the Radians' shell is taller by several inches than the EFTA/65/Momentum line. My big guy made it till 2+ rearfacing in the EFTA, but I think he'd still fit now in the Radian for sure. (Ah, and the Radian can be tethered rearfacing-Evenflo cannot.) The Complete Air is taller than the Radian (27.5" internal seating height) and narrow, plus it's cheaper, but it probably is not a good fit for a newborn like the other two.

ETA: the internal seating height on the EFTA/65 is 23.5" vs. the Radian's is 25". See here for the EFTA: http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=150685

The Radian is narrower, more difficult to install, can be tethered rear facing, and you can use the harness with shoulders above the top slots. The EFT65 is a very wide seat, pretty easy to install, has the no-rethread harness, and has knobs to tighten the harness, which can get buried in the vehicle seat.

The Evenflo Momentum, however, does NOT have the knobs. It has a pull strap like most other carseats.
