Travel seat rec for almost 3 year olds

We're taking an 18 day trip to visit family with a 13 month old and two 35 month olds. We currently have three Alpha Omega Elites and would much prefer not to have to lug all of them on the plane. We'll be renting a minivan when we get there so we won't need to fit three across.
What do you recommend that will be safe, affordable, and convenient to travel with considering that we'll need to get three seats through the airport.

I'd look at a Scenera or onSide Air for the 13 month old to use rear facing, and if you want to forward face the 35 month olds you could do Evenflo Maestros. Or more Sceneras and rear face them.
