Where do you put the carseats while traveling on a train? Traveling alone with the kids & we need the carseats on the other end. 5 year old (39 lbs, 43", 5T shirt size) FF in a Nautilus & a Frontier at home and 20 month old (24 lbs, 31.5", 2T shirt size) RF in a Marathon65. Planning to get a Viewliner Roomette but it's not exactly roomy. 2,000 mile road trip with my parents in a full car (4 adults & 2 kids in a 2012 Highlander). It would be more comfortable to be able to put both kids in the back, but the limited front-back space, rigid seatbelt stalks & belt placement make carseats tricky back there. Would you booster the 5 year old or put him in an RSTV? Would an RSTV even work with the seatbelts in the 3rd row, as they come out slightly in front of the seat?? Thinking about all this is overwhelming.
