torso length

So now that I think I measured my DD's torsos correctly (butt to shoulder while sitting down), can someone please tell me if they are short or long? Or even just normal for that matter

DD1 is 37 lbs. and torso measures at 14.25 inches
DD2 is 25 ish lbs. and torso is 12.5 inches

No real reason to this thread, just curious. Thanks

I think those are pretty average torsos, a little taller than my similar aged kiddos :twocents:

They sound normal to me. My son is also 3yrs and 5 months old and his torso is just about 16 inches. He has always had a longer torso though. He was over 12 inches 11 months old. I'm hoping my May bean will have a short to average sized torso lol
