Three across in a 2000 Forester

So I'm still trying to figure out how to do this for DH's car. Right now, between two cars, I'm in possession of a TB for DS1, as well as a MA, an AOE, a TF, a TFP, and a (petal) RN XT.

I mention the pattern on the RN b/c it would really need to be rf, which I'm fairly certain it cannot do in the Forester. A ff RN w/ the MA rf was suggested, but again...RN has a girly cover, which I , btw, and may just end up putting in my car. The TF and TFP are currently in my car, both rf, and we're most likely looking to replace the AOE since we hate the straps - maybe we'll use it as a spare or give to a grandparent. We're also getting a Rodi XR for DS1, if it makes a difference vs the TB.

I may be able to return either the RN or TFP to fund another seat, as they're both new, only taken out to try installs. Sidetrack: another issue is that I like the RN more than the TFP, so with no other factors I would keep the RN...but the TF and TFP look so cute sitting next to each other in my middle bench seat!! ;) So if anyone wants to comment on that...

But I digress.....what should I do to get three seats in this narrow and apparently fairly shallow backseat? Oh, I should mention that DS2 is rf in my car, but I am comfortable with him ff in DH car..he is ff in the AOE now.

DS2: 13" torso
DD: 11" torso
Seats I particularly like, or think I would like: RN, MA, CCO (maybe for DD?)

I've already logged waaayyyy too many brain hours on this :dizzy:, so it's up to you all now!

Have you checked the Successful 3 Across Thread for your vehicle?
That's my first suggestion.

2nd suggestion is to get a different car :duck:

I used to have a 2001 Forester & currently drive a 2003 Forester and don't have any faith that I could make a 3-across work well on a regular basis.

Sorry, I'm not much help!
