Hi I have a friend that is looking for her tethers on her 2004 Ford Explorer. She read in her manuel that she could tether to one of the cargo tie hoops, but they are on the side of her car. Is this right? Could someone look in the LATCH manuel please? TIA

From the LATCH manual regarding top tether anchors in the '04 Ford Explorer:

Second row center and second row outboard positions: tether anchors are U-shaped metal rings on floor.

Third row center: N/A

Third row outboard positions: 2 tether anchors (cargo tie-downs at back edge of floor in scuff plate).

Hope this helps your friend. :)
