Tether Anchors Offset Ford Flex & Question on Placement of 3 Clek Foonfs

I'm considering purchasing a Ford Flex and have three children, 5 and under, all in Clek Foonfs. My 5 1/2 year old is forward facing. My 4 year old and almost 10 month old are rear facing. We are currently driving a 2010 Land Rover LR4, all 3 in middle row with my forward facer in the center.

If we purchase the Flex, my forward facer will move to the third row passenger side. My rear facers will be in individual bucket seats in the second row.

Here are my questions:

1. Is it okay that the tether anchors in all spots are offset? I've only seen tethers for forward facing in the center of the seat back. These are all located on the side edge of the back of the seat. So, the tether strap is essentially at a diagonal. Is that any less safe? The seat installs fine and is secure and doesn't move, but I'm just questioning if the diagonal position of the tether is any less safe than straight down the seat back.

2. Is my forward facer less safe in the third row than she was previously in the center of the second row? Meaning, is 3 across more safe for any reason than third row. Seating for her?

3. There are headrests in the third row that protrude forward a bit. The car seat seems to be installed okay I believe, although the headrest is against the back of the car seat. The car seat back still touches the vehicle seat front, but just wondering if there's any concern with the way those headrests tip forward? Anything that would make it NOT okay, if that makes sense?

Thank you!!

That's fine. That's just the way some vehicles and positions are. Up to 20º offset is fine.

We don't have data for that. Provided she's properly installed and the seat is used properly, she'll be remarkably safe anywhere in the backseats.

The third row headrests are fine, since you can get a proper install.

Sounds like you've thought everything through!
