Stuck rethreading harness on a Marathon

I removed the harness straps completely from the shell of my 2009 model Britax Marathon to wash the cover, and now I am stuck on the exact correct way to put the harness back on at the bottom. I've searched and searched and can't find any naked pictures of the Marathon with the harness installed, to see the area of concern. Trying to figure out what slots/spaces it is that the straps need to go thru. Both ways I do it just don't seem right. Can anyone help?

ETA: Sorry that this info isn't correct for the situation!

Maybe this video might help? :)

I am guessing you took the entire strap off, including the bottom part? I think I saw a blog post about that somewhere. They go through two slots, from the inside of the shell yo the outside, then back in the lower slot. Did you wash the straps themselves?

Yes, I took it out of the bottom slots...without even thinking, even though it was difficult! I think this was the first time I've ever had to remove it's cover...and I just didn't think about the easy way, from the top harness! And trying to figure out the correct 'loops' and holes/directions to thread it on the seat bottom and sides.

Oh, gosh, I'm sorry I read your post wrong! Britax used to send out a great instruction seat when you bought replacement harnesses; I wish I had a digital copy to post. :)

ETA: LOL, and I shouldn't leave a reply box open before waiting so long to respond! Tiggercat, you are awesome!

I did the same thing the first time I had to completely remove the harness. Thankfully we had 2 MAs so I was able to look at the other one.
