How old and heavy is the baby in the Cowmoo Marathon?
The straps need to be coming from above the shoulders when FF.

He'll be two on October 1st. Right now he weighs 27lbs. When he was in the casts he was 34. He's slimmed out a little, plus they added a lot of weight.
Are you familiar with the benefits of rearfacing past the first birthday? Now that his casts are off, he has plenty of weight left to rearface in his Marathon. It's increases his safety by more than 5x and is recommended by NHTSA, the AAP and obviously by us as technicians.
Here's a video that explains the "why" of it better than I can.

theconstantreader said:Yes, I've seen the video and know he could still be refacing. He goes in and out of the casts (goes back this coming Monday to the doctor) and when he's in them it pushes the casts up so they push on his hips and puts strain on his ankles now that his legs are longer. It worked okay when he was an infant, but not anymore. And when he's not in them he hates being faced towards the seat. Screams the whole time.
