I can get one for $81. Given the price now of the stroller is 340 that is $421 for both which is as good as the free ride I missed (I think green was like $430 then...)
BUT. I will rarely use it. My only reason for buying is to increase resale value, out of fear they will d/c green.
The weight limit of the 2nd seats is 35 pounds. One of my girls is right about there, the other is over. Which means if I wanted to use it as a double I would have to put them in the main seat and the baby in the 2nd seat and I can tell you he would not be happy with that set-up. I could have the girls take turns resting and walking and HOPE the baby does OK in the back (who knows, maybe he will) but I don't know. I really wouldn't be buying it to use it, it would be my fear of green being d/c'ed + the at hand now.
Do you think it will increase resale that much to have it, or do you think I am just as likely to find someone like me who is combing CL for a nice reverse-facing single?
I guess if green were d/c'ed the buyer could always use black... I considered going black or red to avoid this issue but the green is just so gorgeous and different.
