Shortest nbb?

Hi!

What is the shortest booster? My car doesn't have headrests and the Parkway will not be available for me to use this weekend (watching my former nanny kids for the weekend). 8.5yo is just a smidge too tall in the LiteRider so I need a seat maybe an inch shorter. Does one exist that isn't the BubbleBum? With all the new seats out I really hope to find something.

On the other hand she is very tall and might 5-step in my center seat and not need a headrest, but state law is 9yo and I am not sure I am comfortable with her being so young. Which would be preferable in this situation? Let her ride middle squeezed beside a Nautilus or have her ride in a booster when the tips of her ears are a hair (maybe .5") over the seat back?

Thanks!

The topside is pretty low-profile so it might work... I'm not sure though. If the 8 year old five-steps in the middle, then that might work, although it'd be better to have a booster to act as aritfical hips in a crash... If the seatback is too short for adequate head support then I would probably put the 8 year old in the front in a backless booster with the seat pushed all the way back, provided that the seatbelt fit is good

Thanks! The Topside is my next option if this one doesn't work I guess.

I decided to pick up the new Graco backless with latch because it looked a tad shorter than the LiteRider. Now to cross my fingers that it works. If anyone else has suggestions please let me know! If it doesn't work we are up a mountain (literally) and back at square one :(

I think the Topside is the shortest. Just note that the shoulder belt routes differently than pretty much every other booster ever  LOL The shoulder belt has to go OVER the belt guide (non-arm rest thingy).

Thanks! We ended up with the Connext and the way it is sloped down slightly in the back gave us more room to grow than I expected so it all worked out!
