I have a 5 yo (40 lbs, not sure on height, but tall), a 2 yo (30 lbs, no idea on height), and a 7 month old (19 lbs, height?). They are currently all in Radians in my car, (2 yo and 7 mo RF, 5 yo FF). In my mom's car, I have the 2 yo RF in a Cosco Scenera and the 5 yo FF in an EFTA. (Baby doesn't leave me.) The EFTA expires in August, so I am in need of a new seat for my mom's car. I bought a Nautilus, but the harness straps rubbed DD's neck, and I could barely buckle the crotch straps, so there's no way my arthritic mom can. I don't want to put her in a booster, but every other convertible or FF/booster combo I put her in, she was above or really close to the top harness slot. (I also just moved her to the top slot on the Radian, so I guess the booster is coming sooner rather than later :/)
Any recommendations? I need something narrow, in case we need to do 3 across in my mom's car, and preferably something inexpensive. I'd love a Frontier, but it's just not in the budget. I'm thinking maybe getting another convertible so we have more options as far as all the grandkids going with my mom, but I'm open to a booster combo, too. What has the highest harness slots, on a narrow, cheap seat? And also, what is the narrowest, sturdiest HBB, for when she does outgrow all the convertibles? I fiddled with a Turbobooster today, and it seems so flimsy. I guess I'm just spoiled with the super-solid Radians, but it felt like it was going to fall apart.
