Not usually, hate to say it.
Try this. Make sure the forward facing recline is out. Recline the backseat if at all possible. Then when you're installing push back with your knee on the front of the seat, and then maybe gently down with the other knee in the seat (as much force as you'd use your hand with, don't go crazy). Then use your hands to pull the slack hard out of the lap belt. If the buckle goes up into the belt path, you can twist it up to three full turns. When you're done, if you've reclined the backseat, pull it back upright (if you do this make sure you leave it a little tiny bit looser than you would because you don't want to break your seat or belt). Then check it. But even with this it's probably not likely. I've heard many times it's just incompatible there.
