returning a stroller to BRU?

I want to get the Trevi, but still have a tiny bit of reservation about how it isnt a perfectly smoothe ride with the treads on the tires. I want to get it and actually try it out more than just walking in a circle in babies r us. I want to use it and see how I like it. WIll BRU take it back if I put it together and took it for a trip or two to the mall to get a feel for it? My hubby wants this to be the last stroller I buy until My almost 10 month old is done with strollers... I have to make sure I like it!

ANyone with the trevi know if the bumpy ride becomes smoother over time? Or heck, can I buy the trevi and then order some cortina wheels and stick on it? I hate the cortine, but it rides so smooth!

I returned a stroller to BRU that I had used for about a week. I did have my receipt and I still had the box I bought it and had planned on keeping it, but I was not pleased with it after using it twice (it was a Chiico C5). It did not steer well and one of the wheels kinda wobbled. Anyway, they took it back without a problem. I am sure they would have given me my money back, but I exchanged it since I still needed a stroller.

Just clean it up really good and stick it back in the box and have the reciept! u should be ok!

thanks ladies. since DH didnt have work today, I decided to go back to BRU to look at the Trevi. I've looked it over like 4 times and the lady was like "You're back again?!?!?!" I really wanted to order it online now so I could get it next week. If I was to get it from Babies R Us, I would have to wait until the 18ths for my 15% off coupon to be valid AND it would still cost me $10 more AND it wouldnt be the pattern I prefer. So, I looked at it again, this time without my 3 year old I've decided that it's going to be the best that I can get that had the features I want and in the price range that I want. Its as close to perfect as it can get for me with the strollers available. And if my "perfect" stroller does come along... The only thing I am not sold on with this stroller is that it has a slight bump when you roll it.. but its minor in my book. I know people complain about the shade, but that doesnt bother me as we don't spend much time outside... too stinkin hot down here! When we do start going back to places like the zoo in the late fall, I will just buy a sunshade for it.. no biggie. Anyway, I am done rambling.. offer to order my stroller!,... stinkin holiday weekend!
