I don't have a *ton* of experience w/ lots of different boosters but we have a Diono Monterey for our DD (currenty 9 yrs & 43#). She's always been quite comfortable in it & it fits her very well. It's also got some steel-reinforcement & it has LATCH so that you don't have to remember to buckle it in every time that you drive w/o her in it (so that it doesn't become a projectile in a crash).

That being said, comfort is such a matter of taste. Perhaps you could take her to a local store (Buy Buy Baby, Babies R Us, Target) so that she can try a few out?

My DD is only 5.5 but weighs 45lbs and 45 inches. She is LOVING her Kiddy Cruiserfix Pro - especially the way the seat can be extended for her longer legs. I got it on Amazon so I could return it free if it didn't work :)

I don't have a lot of experience with different options, as we JUST today got our first booster. My dd is 7 and 35 pounds, so very small, and she just got a Monterey. It fits her perfectly, as far as I can tell. The only thing i don't like, is that the shoulder belt adjuster doesn't keep the belt in it, and therefore I have to rethread it every time (but maybe I'll figure that out?), and its hard for her to buckle because our seatbelts are short and she has would have to squeeze her hand in between her sister's and her seat to buckle it. She fell asleep in it today on our long carride home (an hour and 15 minutes) and her head didn't bob forward and she didn't slump into it as far as I could tell. She loved the cup holders for her water and crayons, too. Overall, I'm pleased with it.:)
