Reasonably priced ring sling recommendations?

I have a loveyduds wrap and love it but am looking for something I can get DD into quicker while its so cold outside. Has anyone used another brand besides the Maya wrap sling? I know it has great reviews, but I was hoping to spend a little less, more like $40. Thanks

She made me one and it's awesome!!! I got it right when S was born and it is still holding up and looks great! and Jess is really great to work with!

I was going to suggest sewing your own up.

I have NO sewing skills. However I was able to make a sling. I found real easy instructions on some website. All I had to do was hem up the sides. And sew the rings in place.

I used cheap $1.00 a yard fabric that was on the clearance rack at walmart. The plan was to see if Nevaeh would like the ring sling and then buy a professional one from an internet vendor. Mine turned out fine though. I can honestly say with out hesitation it was the best money I ever spent. I used that sling for nearly 2 years everyday. It was my sanity saver.
