I have 2011explorer and having trouble fitting rear facing seat without having to push my front seats so far forward. My husband and I are both tall. Any suggestions?

If you have a Babies R Us near you, I would test out the Chicco NextFit. It is very compact front to back and also very long lasting.

I would look at the Graco Headwise/mysize/fit4me as well as the chicco nextfit they don't take a lot of room front to back compared to some convertibles
