Radian XT RF height limit?

I bought my son a Boulevard that he is RF in right now, but I'm just not loving it the way I used to when I first bought one for my daughter. I was considering the Radian XT because I really want a seat with the Head Wings. I see that Kohls has them on sale right now and since they raised the weight limit to 40 lbs on the newer seats this could also work for my daughter. My question is though how tall can their torso be to still be rearfacing? I've tried looking up stats but I haven't seen it. My daughter is 2 and 39 1/2 inches and 36.5 lbs. She has a long torso though so I'm afraid she won't fit in there for long RF. She is currently in a GN, but if I could turn her back around I would like to. I drive a 07 Nissan XTerra and someone said the Radians fit well in my vehicle so I wanted to try it out. And do you think I should wait and get an SL? I was considering this for the weight since she is a little heavier than other kids, but since she is so tall I didn't know if the extra weight would even help her. Thanks :)

You can rear face in the Radian until the child's head reaches 1" below the top of the shell. Many kids can easily rear face to 5 or 6 by height in the Radian.

Thank you! I didn't know if you were only allowed to use certain slots like other car seats or if you were allowed to use all of them. I know the SL's are back ordered, but does anyone know when they are going to come in? I'm trying to decide if they are worth the wait.

If you're planning on buying two seats I would buy one Radian XT now and rf your daughter. Then when the SL comes out you can pass the XT down to your son, get an SL for your daughter and get rid of the boulevard. By the time your son hits 40lbs you can either give him the SL or buy another seat (who knows what will be available then or what you'll want to buy)
