Radian r120, r100 or another rxt?

I need to get another Radian and I was wondering if I should get another rxt (I hate the head wings always sliding down on my 6 yr old) or get a r120 or r100 instead. It will be for my 6,3 or 18m old. Not sure yet. Right now my 6 yr old is using the rxt but I might switch him to a harmony dreamtime HBB because its narrow and he is almost 7. Then use the current one for my 3 yr old or 18 m old. Either way I need one more. My 18m old only likes to be buckled in the radian. She hates her britax marathon.

Thanks

If you hate the headwings then I wouldn't get them. I wouldn't pay more money for headwings i didn't like for the same reason I wouldn't pay someone to throw sand at my face.

So if I don't get the rxt which other one should I get? r120 or r100? I actually just called radian about the head wings always sliding down and the cs rep said to tighten the bold in the seat to fix. So I will try that for the rxt we already have.

The only difference in the r100 and r120 is the weight limits and cover options when you purchase them. I chose the r120 just in case DS1 hit 40lbs before I was ready to ff.

Unless you need the extra weight limit or an infant insert, it's essentially the same seat. The r100 rear faces to 40 and forward faces to 65, r120 goes to 45 and 80, and has an infant insert, and a couple of extra covers.

ETA: cross post, jinx!

I recently had the same decision to make. I didn't get the RXT because I read the head wings can make the seat outgrown by height a little quicker due to the wings getting in the way of the harness. My son is tall so I didn't want to risk that. I got the 120 because I liked the cover options better than the 100 even though I don't need the higher weight limit.

We bought an RXT for our oldest. Then we needed another one, so I got on our second dd a 120 because she has a long torso and I didn't want her shoulders to be hitting the head wings before she outgrows it by hight. it's nice to have one of each. I'd go with the 120.
