It looks right about 45 degrees to me, however, it looks like (as best as I can tell from the fuzzy pic) you have a locking latchplate buckle and that it is at the wrong angle to stay locked. Can you twist down the female end of the buckle to make it shorter and get the latchplate further down out of the belt path?

Just wondering, is it easier to get a more upright angle if you install using the seatbelt vs. LATCH? If so, I may need to try the seat belt instead.

The first photo in the second set looks MUCH better than the first photo in the first post. The buckle with three twists looks great; the buckle with no twists is unacceptable.
You can upload more pics by deleting some older ones you don't need any more, or by using a photo hosting site such as Photobucket, Flikr, or Picasa.
It varies from vehicle to vehicle. Some vehicles it's easier with LATCH, some it's easier with seatbelt, some it doesn't matter what you do.
