Quick question: when was the Galaxy discontinued?

Hi folks,
Someone on a listserv I'm on is selling a Galaxy. She says nothing about its age, but I know it's discontinued. As she's selling it for $80, I'd like to know how close it might be to expiration so I can email her and point that out. I don't remember seeing it for sale when I first bought Britax seats in 2002, which is why I'm a bit concerned about it.

I can't open it right now to give you a better link or look it up, bu the color pictorial guide to car seats at www.carseat.org will definitely have a picture and what years it was made

Thanks, Julie. I was trying to find that site, but couldn't. Must bookmark it! That says that the Galaxy was around in 2002-2003. I presume that all Britax seats have a 6 year expiration date, right? So that seat has only a year or two of use left, depending on DOM. I'll email her.
