Questions about Keyfit (covers, price)

After trying several buckets in the car, I've decided to go with a KF30 for Peter this fall. What are the differences between the Adventure and Cubes covers? Is one preferred over the other? Also, is $153 the best price I'm likely to find for one? I can wait for a while if something better is likely to come up but wasn't sure if that was as good as it gets. Thanks!

We have used a cube cover with two boys, each for about a year. The cover has held up great. Our second son had reflux quiet bad so it has been washed lots of times too. The inserts do show stains more, but have cleaned up very well. Our friend has an adventure and the head part of the cover is a little softer fabric (like the insert on the cube) and it does tend to show more dirt or stain, but I think it would clean well too. I don't really know about price. I have had luck shopping on Diapers.com and searching google for a coupon code for a discounted price. Good luck!

Chicco seats generally don't get heavily discounted like other brands because they don't introduce new covers willy nilly like graco or cosco. $150 sounds about right, you might find one for $140ish but that's about as good as it gets.

I think the covers are mostly the same fabric, so it's your esthetic choice and nothing else. I lucked out when I bought mine and found a whole travel system (Keyfit 22 and Cortina strolled) on Albeebaby.com for $199. It was a discontinued color (Sahara) with a one-year old DOM, but for that price I was very happy. I suspect that anything really discounted you find for Chicco will also have an older DOM. Albeebaby right now shows a Fuego Keyfit 30 for $159 as their best price.

We have the Adventure cover & love it. We were happy with the way it cleaned & it seemed soft & comfortable. I'd say the price sounds good also. I think we paid like $170 for ours a couple of years ago.
