Question about RF Combi Cocorro height limit

Hello-
I have a question about the Combi Cocorro. My daughter is 2 yrs 3 mos old and is RFing in the Cocorro. I'd like to keep her RFing as long as possible.
She is getting very close to the top of her head being 1 in from the top of the carseat and I'm thinking I'll have to get her a new seat if I want her to stay rearfacing.

I just re-read the Combi Cocorro manual and it says that the height limit is 36 in RFing. I haven't measured her recently (I'll try to remember to do so tomorrow) but she's always been tiny for her age, and I don't think she's at 36 in yet, so it seems strange that she'd be outgrowing the seat already, but there is here head almost at the top!

I've read in general that the child has outgrown the seat when the top of their head is an inch from the top of the seat.

Then I read in the manual that the child outgrows the seat when the tops of their ears are at the top of the seat.

So which is it? When do they outgrow this seat? When they are 36 in, when the top of their head is 1 in below the top of the seat, or when the top of their ears reach the top of the seat?

Do I need a new seat now if I want her continue to ride RF or are we ok until her ears are at the top of the seat?

Thanks for your help and advice!

The top of the ear rule applies to forward facing. One inch of shell applies to rear-facing. I can't comment on the overall height guideline, I'll leave that to a tech.

The 1" rule is not started in the Coccoro manual, but according to their rep, it still applies. (I asked in hopes that it would at least allow the top of the head to be even with the shell while using European routing at least, but alas, no.)
