What hwh will puzzle together well with a Britax MA RF? I drive a Chevy Equinox and would like the seats to fit together as best as possible incase #3 comes along some day. Also if I install with seatbelts is it possible to get the seats closer to the door? With latch the seats are almost 3 inches in. Thank you

I can answer part of your question at least! You generally do get more space (ie can install closer to the door) if you install using the seatbelt vs using LATCH.

As far as what hwh seats puzzle well with a RF marathon, I'll leave that for someone else. I know that a FF radian does NOT puzzle well, but since it's narrow anyway it might be a good choice. Not sure about the other "usual suspects" (evenflo maestro, graco nautilus, britax frontier 85).

It doesn't exactly puzzle with the FR or the GN, but it does a tad I guess. It was in a large space though. The GN left more room than the FR. Let me try to dig up some pics.

This is the Frontier. You can see the armrest doesn't fit under the MA. It wouldn't matter if it did though because the FR is just as wide at the back as it is at the armrest.

It doesn't fit over the GN either. It would probably get a tad closer with the MA on the other side. I've got a pic of that too.

All of these set ups allowed me to fold the seat to allow access of the 3rd row but it was significantly tighter with the FR.

HTH!

MA RF or FF puzzles pretty well with a radian b/c the radian sits pretty low. plus to get 3 across, most of the time you need at least 1 in the mix. i have 2 BLVDs and a radian in my honda accord.
