My oldest son broke his ankle, and has to move up to the second row of our Pilot. Which means our 6yo needs to move to the third row. I can't get his Nautilus to install well back there, so a booster is our best bet, I think. He's new to booster riding, and sitting very nicely, but I'd like some verification if this fit is okay. I'm willing to go purchase a Turbo if need be.
This is a Monterey. This is DS#3, 6years, 44.5 lbs. We also have a Nautilus that could be used as a hbb, but the lap belt fit rides higher on him.
Shirt up - the lap belt is certainly touching his thighs, but there isn't much distance between the top edge of the belt and his belly.
The belt stays on his shoulder, but maybe it is a bit too far out?
And, finally, the buckle is sitting up on the edge of the belt path instead of down in. Is this a problem?
