Question Pics of Son in seats..Has he outgrown these???

Here are the pics I took the other day of my Son in his two other seats. He is 2yrs next month , 28.5 lbs and aprox 35.5 /36inch tall .

He is in the OnsideAir in Blue and a Scenera (not the Scenera 40RF) in grey .

Please take a look at the pics and tell me if you feel he has outgrown these seats

We use the Onside AIr in my husbands 96 Z71 and the Scenera in my Mom's 02 Sequoia

From the 2nd pic of the Onside Air I think it's pretty close to being outgrown. The Scenera seems to have more room, possibly an inch or more to grow yet.

He looks like he has less room in the Onside Air but I think that is because it is installed more reclined.

He looks like he has 2 or more inches above his head in the Scenera so he should have about another year RF in that seat. The Onside Ar has the same shell so he should have the same amount of room in there. Maybe you could install it a little less reclined?

I do want to add the installing at a more upright angle (than the line level to the ground indicator) is against manufacturers instructions. It is up to you as the parent to decide if you are ok with that. I have my Dorel seat installed more upright.

The first picture is my Son in the Onside AIr while we are driving . The second picture of the Onside Air is when my husband was tightening the harness straps so that is probably why his head looks higher in the seat.

I agree the Scenera looks to have more room
