Parkway sgl in 09 Volvo S60

MIL has a Volvo S60. We bought a parkway for short rides to church/town (5 mi). The headrests protrude out making the booster stick out. Also, the backseat has 3 seatbelt, but the middle is raised making the outer seats somewhat of a bucket. I just tried dd in the seat. I had to shove the seat over to get to the buckle. The seatbelt still lays within the guide. Is it ok? It seems like more of a pain than anything. Also, is it okay for it to not be flat against the seat? DD rides in a frontier 85 in my car. Im considering returning the parkway, and getting another fr85.

can you put the booster in the middle?

are the headrests removeable or can they be raised to be out of the way of the booster?

The middle, at least in my 2007 xc70 would be fairly narrow for a booster. I don't know if you would be able to buckle it with the inset fixed belt receptacle. The headrests don't raise or move on the sides :( I've heard the Clek oobr would work OP, but can't guarantee that since I don't have the funds to get one yet. The Monterey also leaves a space at the back.

I have a 2012 Volvo S60 and have the same issue so I'm guessing they are the same headrests even though they have changed the body style.

I wasn't comfortable with how the Parkway fits in any of the positions. The Frontier works because the headrest of the carseat sits forward of the car's headrest (in the outboard position at least, I didn't try that install in the center). The Clek Oobr works very well with this car as well. That is what I use for my DDs in the Volvo.

Im not really comfortable with her in a booster yet anyway. Guess we'll just get another frontier 85. It seems to fit well. We have another dd on the way, so it should get lots of use.
