Parkway SG, or Monterey?

My son currently rides in a Britax Parkway SG. He likes it enough, but has a lot of trouble buckling it on his own (I usually end up doing it for him). We originally tried the probooster, but it had tipping issues, but he preferred how he felt more 'hugged' in that seat vs the parkway we ended up with.

I'm now considering buying the Monterey, but have a couple of questions before I hit the 'order' button- are the sides deeper than the parkway (hoping DS will feel hugged more), and is it easier for kids to buckle themselves in it? I'd end up getting the tangerine in hopes that it will have the new guides (and because orange is his favorite color), but I do understand I might have to contact diono for a different head rest. If that's the case, would locking the seatbelt help with that issue? We already lock it to help him feel more closed in.

I had a Probooster and had to get rid of it for same tipping issue. I now have a Monterey and I love it. It is much like the pb. Nice deep wings and you can adjust the torso wings in and out to fit child. Plus it has LATCH so you don't have to worry about buckling it in every time.
