We purchased a Parkway SGL for my 6-year-old to use in my mom's Chevy Equinox. Unfortunately, we didn't know that the headrests in the Equinox are non-adjustable and non-removable. It appears to us that the headrest pushes the Parkway out too far from the vehicle seat. I can't post a photo without registering, but basically, the top of the Parkway leans against the headrest, NOT the vehicle seat, and there is about 1-3 inches space between the Parkway and the vehicle seat toward the top.
Now we have a problem. Our 6-year-old and 3-year-old need to be able to ride in both our minivan and my mom's car. Our 3-year-old is still rear facing in the minivan but we're ok with her FF in my mom's car. Our 6-year-old is still harnessed in the minivan but we're ok with her being in a booster in my mom's car. We also have a small sedan that currently just has a FF harnessed seat in it, that the 6-year-old rides in once or twice a week.
Ours seats include: Parkway SGL (new), Nautilus (new), Radian XTSL (3 years old), Evenflo Triumph 65 (3 years old), Frontier 90 (1 year old). We can buy one more seat if needed. But I am struggling with how to configure these seats between the 3 cars to make it all work. We were able to get the Radian to fit in the center of the Equinox, but I don't know yet if any seats will fit next to it.
