Parallels® H-Sphere

Okay, I got here through google. I CANNOT access the forums home. I can access just about anything else that google can reach through google, so swap, international, special needs and technical questions. Every time I aim for the forms home I get the Parallels H-Sphere and:
Error: Wrong Host

The requested host is not found. This may happen due to the following reasons:

Domain does not exist.
Domain is not yet propagated. You may try the IP address or instant domain alias instead of the domain name.
You have typed the address incorrectly, like http://ww.example.com instead of http://www.example.com

I have flushed the domain name cache twice. I have rebooted my laptop. My g-tab seems unaffected but I cannot type on a touch screen. I have trouble even logging in.

I see new posts. How are you all doing it?!

TIA!

Re: Parallels® H-Sphere

There was a change made by the service provider this morning that was causing some errors. This is probably related.

Can you please provide some more information?

Who is your service provider?

What browser/version are you using?

Does this only affect one computer at your location or all of them?

What is the exact URL you are using to go to the home page?

If anyone else is having similar problems, please post or send an email with as much information as possible to webmaster "at" car-seat "dot" org.

Re: Parallels® H-Sphere

Service provider is Comcast

I'm using the most current version of Firefox (Ok, just tried internet exploder. It does work with that. I didn't think to try that earlier.)

Only effects my laptop thus far, I'll try DH's computer in a moment. I can access with my tablet pc on the same modem.

www.car-seat.org. That includes link reading that. Extensions are don't cause a problem.

Re: Parallels® H-Sphere

At the moment, I can access the forums from my laptop (service provider is comcast and then browser is firefox) but not from my iPad...not through the app or safari. I get the same Parallels H-Sphere pop up. Early today, I could not even get on using my laptop.

ETA: Ok , now I am on using my iPad. Strange.

Re: Parallels® H-Sphere

I've been getting the h-sphere screen intermittently today too, but it's been stable the last hour or so. Happened more often when I tried to post than just reading.

Provider: Comcast
Browser: Firefox 3.6
URL: www.car-seat.org

Refreshing at the h-sphere screen usually makes the board load again.

Re: Parallels® H-Sphere

I am advised that this problem is likely related to the fact that the forum received a new dedicated IP address at the same time it was moved to a new server. That may not resolve completely for a day or so for some visitors. A reboot today should fix this for anyone still having an issue.

To confirm, if the issue appears when you click http://www.car-seat.org , then try the following link:

http://74.62.152.157

If that works, then the new IP address has not yet been refreshed by your own internet service provider or browser.

I have the problem when I click both of those links. But if I hit refresh, it goes away
