I installed this seat in 2 vehicles and found it to be a fairly straightforward installation, I was able to install with latch and seatbelt no issues with either even with the lock off. Sadly the baby was inutero and i had just removed most of the clinic kit from the truck and had no baby dolls on hand to try in it.
