Question Nissan Cube Latch Weight Limits

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know the latch weight limits for a Nissan Cube?

We bought a Graco Argos for our 4 year old and plan to put it in our cube.

The only thing I found in the manual of the Cube is the following:

"Child restraint anchor points are
designed to withstand loads
from child restraints that are
properly fitted"

Does this mean it does not have a weight limit and I should just follow the carseat manual? For instance the Argos should not be used with latch for children over 48 pounds. Therefore the Cube should be able to withstand this weight along with the carseat weight?

Just want to make sure.

Nissan allows installing with the lower LATCH anchors up to the limit specified by the carseat's manufacturer, which is 48 lbs. in the case of your Graco Argos as you've noted. While on the subject of LATCH, if you're installing in the Cube's center rear spot, you'll need to use the vehicle seatbelt to install a carseat there, just in case you're not already aware of that. The Cube has two dedicated sets of LATCH for installing using lower LATCH anchors on the rear driver's side and rear passenger side, and Nissan doesn't allow "borrowing" an innermost lower anchor from each side to install in the center.

We are putting the Argos on one side and an infant seat on the other side, it will eventually be a convertible rear-facing, probably the EFTA or the Marathon that have not expired that my 4 year old is currently using.
